Terms and Conditions
The information presented in this Learning Hub is based on research, evidence and practice experience working with young people with complex needs. It should be used to inform your knowledge and understanding in supporting young people, and potentially inspire further learning in particular subjects that interest you or are crucial for your work. However, none of the content of this Hub (or associated websites including youthaodtoolbox.org.au and oohctoolbox.org.au ) should supersede your own organisational practices, policies or procedures. Anything you learn whilst completing our courses should be discussed with your clinical supervisor prior to integrating into your practice. Some of the content will refer to the legislative or structural conditions of the state of Victoria, in Australia. If you are outside this jurisdiction we recommend checking on your own legislation or structures. Even if you are in Victoria, you should check for changes in legislation etc. as we may not have updated the content to reflect the change yet.
Much of the content of this Learning Hub is based on content developed for the Youth AOD Toolbox, which contains the ‘original’ versions of the content complete with the full references. In most cases we have deleted out the references for the Learning Hub courses for ease of reading. If you would like to know the references, you should go to the relevant section of the Youth AOD Toolbox where you will find them. As it is not presented as a referenced document we do not recommend quoting it or referencing it in something you are writing, instead encourage you to go to the original sources. It is meant merely as a learning tool in your professional development.
